By
Dublin road on an bloody day,
I first heard the news
that by their tongue I would lose my young
I first heard the news
that by their tongue I would lose my young
&
their words would no be true .
said they we’d fight for equal right
& everyone will be the same
they said that in France & won the chance
but equality never came
said they we’d fight for equal right
& everyone will be the same
they said that in France & won the chance
but equality never came
Mahatma
Ghandi had England down upon her knees
Liberty and equality for his people if you please
Liberty and equality for his people if you please
Once
again they won the day
But
never got to see, the greed that grew from those not true
equality
again trampled down
In
Americak, the fought that day, yelling equality for all man
But
you can see when they were free, equality be damned
They
all declared & penned their right, & it’s there for all to see
Look
onto our streets, was that fight really for equality
In
1625 Charles believed ,in the divine right of Kings
But
Cromwell said he would have his head.
He’s
just a human like you & me when Oliver won,
Not
a crumb was left on the poor man’s chair.
So
that when he died because he lied.
They
brought back Charles’s divine son.
Equality died, & the crown was glad
that the people were treated unfair
Once again they would reign, for the rich man
& his share.
Once
again they reign & claim, for the rich man & his share
All
the Major nations of this world, have
fought under the Equality banner, to this day none have established a state
close to that which is equal , the price all have endured towards this folly is
immeasurable in all directions of human conflict.

EVEN
TODAY THE DIE HARDS OF IRELAND [ mainly ordinary working class folk] FIGHT FOR
UNIFICATION, INTO AN IRELAND THAT DID NOT GIVE, NOR EVER WILL THE EQUALITY
THEIR PATRIOTS DIED FOR, THEIR QUARREL SHOULD FIRST BE IN THE SOUTH TO BRING
ABOUT THE EQUALITY OF ALL. As The USA HAS MAINLY FINANCED THIS MADNESS, THEY
TOO SHOULD LOOK IN THEIR OWN BACK YARD BEFORE ADVISING ANY PART OF THE GLOBE AS TO WHAT IS EQUALITY, RIGHT & JUST.
Below is the Sinn Féin manifesto for an Ireland & their vision of
EQUALITY, It is far from the equality that all yearn for. Even within the ranks
of their own party Equality is a distant conception. The class system that all
on this planet suffer is not tackled, not by a long standard.
Equality
Sinn Féin advocates the right to
social, economic, gender and cultural equality. This encompasses equality for
all, irrespective of race, age, marital or family status, sexual orientation,
physical or mental capacities, ethnicity, social origin, political or religious
affiliations, or membership of the Travelling Community.
Creating the conditions for
establishing an equal society means recognising that many diverse groups and
sections of Irish society need enhanced protection from the State. We must
tackle the trend to blame a person or group for their exclusion from society.
It is the same mentality that leads
to the isolation of people who are old or have disabilities. We need to
recognise that Ireland and Irish society is the sum of its parts and there is
no rationale for excluding any group.
Women are the largest group of those
who have been excluded from the benefits of the Celtic Tiger economy.
Households headed by lone parents and by older women remain at high risk of
poverty and structural inequalities continue to trap many women in low paid,
part-time employment. Sinn Féin is committed to Building an Ireland of Equals.
Sinn Féin’s priorities include:
·
support for measures to achieve
equality of representation both in political life and in all public
appointments;
·
equal pay and the removal of those on
the minimum wage from the tax net;
·
affordable and accessible childcare;
·
free healthcare at the point of
delivery for all;
·
free breast and cervical screening
programmes;
·
affordable quality housing;
·
individual social welfare
entitlements for women;
·
restrospective contributory pension
credits for homemakers and carers;
·
proper financial support for
full-time carers and an end to the means test for the Carers Allowance;
·
a safety and sanctions policy to deal
with violence against women;
·
development of localy based serv ices
and transport infrastructure to combat isolation;
·
adequate financial support and easy
access for women taking up education and training at all levels.
